Android Basics by Google

Description

This program has a curriculum with google for the Android developers who are new to programming, so that they can develop the skills to smoothen there journey towards becoming a professional android developer. This course prepares the students to transform hand-drawn app designs into layouts using the XML markup language, and use Views and ViewGroups to display images and text. The students learn about how to use use variables to add interactivity to your app, the basics of object-oriented programming, how to show multiple screens, add audio and images to an app, how Android handles touch events, make visual changes to add polish to your app, the basics of networking in Android, including HTTP networking, JSON parsing, and threads. They also develop the skills of how to use Web API’s.
